I know the twinz get all the luvin’ but I wanna know what ever happened to DJ Tanner!!! Wait, just kidding! The twinz are our faves! Here we have Ashz and MKz and their TV dad, Bob Sagat at the DVD release party for his animated “mockumentary” Farce of the Penguins on Tuesday. I love Ashley’s chic 50’s greacer vibe and as always, MK looks lovely in her hot red kimono garb. Glad to see the girlz hair colors are back to normz! Oh, and Bob looks fabulous!

It’s official. Fred flare had to be totally, utterly, completely, absolutely, and finally out of its current home at 175 North Tenth Street in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood by April Fool’s Day. After that, our new location will be 300 Kingsland, also in Brooklyn. It’s about four times the size, so we’re aiming to grow, grow, grow.
But first we have to move everything there without skipping a beat. It’s a big project, and everyone is getting organized already. The order went out to purge old files. Every department is creating a mailing list of vendors and suppliers who need to be notified. The shelving and tables and desks and computers are all being counted and tagged. We’ve even hired an architect to help us use the new space to its best advantage.
At the same time, we want to make the move so smooth and seamless that the only indication is a new address. Which means everyone is also working hard to find new products (Some of our staff went to the local gift show this past Monday), to keep the shipping lanes open, and to come up with great ideas for spring.

It’s my totes faves BFF’s, Parz & Nikz on their way out of Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills on Monday. I’m so happy to see the girlz hangin’, but I have to give a WTF to Nikz dress. But first what’s happening with Parz… she’s so like 1995 conserve! And Nikz dress looks like a gawdy Greek swimming pool on Mikonos. She’s really making a splash. Oh darling Nikki, I love you!

fred flare opens first shop on Roberston in LA and Ashlee Simpson can’t stop shopping there! Whoops, just kidding… I couldn’t resist photoshopping on that blank cavnas of a shopping bag. Well at least it’s better than those darn Kitson bags… OMG, I just said it! We’ll have store evench, but for now you’ll have to buy us on the internetz. Thanks Ashz!

I know this is also super old news, but we’re all so obsessed with the Spice Girls here that I had to mention it! As you all know, last week our cuddly ex-Spicester, Emma Bunton or Babe-inz Spice, announced that she and her b-friend, Jade Jones are havin’ a babe-inz. Babe-inz and Jade have been together for eight years and are supes excited! I am too! Now, the only one w/o a babe-inz is Sporty. Baby’s babe-inz joinz the rest of the baby spice factory: Crazy (who’s also preggers (with Eddie Murphy’s??? baby) is due this Spring) already has one, Phoenix Chi, 7, Ging has an eight month old, Madonna Bluebell and Posh has three with Becks, Brooklyn, 7, Romeo, 4 and Cruz who’s gonna be 2 in Febz! Congratz Baby!! I defz think all the kidz should start a Brit pop band… in say 2015! Hm, what should they be called?

Alright ladiez, take a deep breath in ’cause our sweet lil’ Mr Harry Potter is all grown up and HOT! When I found these sweet pix of 17 year old Daniel Radcliffe… My love was like WHOA! Danny boy posed for these steamy pics to promote his upcoming performance in the London stage revival of the play Equus, which opens in March. Before starting her line One Good Bumblebee, Katey Nicosia was an avid studier and writer of poetry, which you can read on her awesome blog. OMG, I am so excited I could flip my wig… I have a brand-new episode of The Fred Flare Show video podcast to share with you! It’s our first episode of 2007 and in honor of Valentine’s Day, it’s all about LOVE! Set in front of our wicked Chris Uphues heart mural, all of us at fredflare.com got together and went on and on about what we love! It’s super cute but also bittersweet because these are our last few weeks at 175 N 10th St! So, this episode is a fitting farewell to our home for the past six years! I’m kinda bummed out that the first month of the year has flown by already. I had all these fun home improvements I wanted to tackle, like redoing our kitchen, and pretty much the only fix-up I’ve been able to accomplish is this:

This one titled “Photo Booths” was written by 19-year old Amanda Friel of Florida, a creative writing major from who is passionate about animal rights. I LOVE Janice so much! This episode was all about the old models versus the new models that Janice just cast in the previous episode. Janice is such a betch to her Season 1 models so much. She tells them all they’re fat and awkward and can’t walk. She parades the new girls around like they’re so hot. But, I have to say, I HATE the new girls. They’re all skinny betches, swearz! I LOVE the old girls so much. That Stina is a cutie. I loved when she and Crystal ran to the newstand to look at their first magazine spread in Bride & Bloom magazine. Crystal got all freaked out upset that she hated the pix and Stina was all like telling her to enjoy the moment, that she looks amazing! I HEART STINA!

Hi guys! I just wanted to tell you about one of my fave bands. THE BIRD AND THE BEE! I was fortunate enough to catch them a little while ago when they were playing here in NYC opening up for Sia. To make the show even cooler, Sia and lead singer Inara George also covered my all time fave Bee Gees hit How Deep is Your Love. They reside from my old hood the City of Angels. They sound super sweet but surprise you with some killah dance jam tracks! Their album dropped recently and I treated myself by getting it as a b-day prezzie for me! Ha! Well to my surprise, when I got to work the next day the album was sitting on my desk which was a gift from one of my buds. So I have 2 copies now. Cool right? Look how cute Madonna and the Ritchies are!!! Madonnz and the famz came out for the London premiere of Arthur and the Invisibles which is a new animated film that Madonna lent her voice to!
