We are a much smaller crew today and so we have all moved into this one corner of the office and have cranked up the AC. Diane, who’s normally out in the warehouse, now processes everything on the empty desk behind me. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Oh, I thought I had it bad! Paris has to go to friggin’ jail for chrissakes! Whether y’all think she deserves it or not, it’s still gonna be so hard. I mean, you guys know all these people quit last week and yesterday was like the hardest day of my life. Keith, Jen & I really hit the ground running to get into the departments where the people were leaving and run them. And let me tell you, they were a mess. The 3 people couldn’t take our perseverance and intensity and decided to not complete their term and didn’t come back today! Yeah, I totes yelled, a lot… but that’s part of my charm and seriously, what would you expect! We’re going thru a difficult time and just trying our best to keep things running. Yowsah, what a week! But I still have my “other” girls to lift me up! Yes, my starlets! I really am relooking at the world and how these girls get treated. It’s hard out there and you just do your best to cope! And if Paris wants to buy church books for real or even for show and if it makes her get thru the day, I say do it! Everyone out there, seriously, in any difficult sitch there is a silver lining. I know I sound like a totes Polly Anna, but everything happens for a reason and that which does not destroy us makes us stronger. And I believe that about what’s happening her at fred! We are doing HOT things and you’re either in or your out! I AM coming to terms with this and getting stronger everyday and buh, bye to all the drama babies! This is our legacy! Phew, that was intense! Okay, I also have to say how much I love that Paris is toting around a Dior bag with her church books! It makes me so happy! Okay, I gotta go ship all your awesome orders now!!!

Wow, I know that Mischa was all sickinz on Memz Day… Mixin’ her meds with booze, not the best idea. But seriously, check out these fantastically glamazon pix that she took for the July issue of French Elle. Dang, those Frenchies really know how to partay! Mischa looks absolutely fabulous portraying various Hollywood icons like Louise Brooks and Marlene Dietrich (seen above)! Misch, you are incred and this gives me hope yet that the young starlets will prevail! I just can get enough of those eyebrows, zing!

You must think all we do around here is eat. Yeah, so? Last week, though rather bad on the staffing front, was actually GREAT on the snacking front, particularly in the PIE realm. On Tuesday Chris Uphues was here painting hearts and also a supercute writer from the New York Post came by so Jen threw together a lil’ impromptu pizza party. Amoré! Then on Thursday Jen’s parents were in town from Ohio and her mom made us the most delicious life-changing pie you’ve ever dreamed of in your entire life. Hi Pat & Patty! Um, we love your daughter and we love you:) So great to hang out on Fri!!

First Britterz went a little nutz, then Paris is going to jail, Mischa got hospitalized and now Lindz is in a downward spiral and off to rehab. What’s gonna happen next? To get the eff off the junk! This is the best news I got today. It’s official, Lindsay Lohan has checked herself into Promises Rehab Center in Malibu! Oh Lindz, this is gonna be great for you! Britterz has really come out of there with a full force smile and a great attitude! Lindz was also supposed to start filming her new film Poor Things (hmm, how apropos), co-starring Shirley MacLaine and Olympia Dukakis. Whoops, looks like that’s on hold! Seriously Lindz, get better! We’re all rooting for ya… Even Herby is!

Now, that doesn’t seem to be the case will poor Lindsay Lohan. It was just on Sunday when I reported that she was busted for DUI & drug possession and it breaks my effing heart to report that it didn’t slow her down, at all. Lindz hit the party train yet again Sunday night & was seen passed out in a car with Samantha Ronson, who was also with Lindz during the accident, before she stumbled into a Memz Day party at the Roosevelt Hotel. I believe that she IS gonna be heading to Brit’s famed Promises in Malibu. Oh Linz, I really wish you all the best. Like our fanz for us, we’re totally and completely behind you every step of the way! Get Well!

Check it out, our BFF’s version 2 are back on the scene doing a little Memz Day BBQ shopping over the weekend and then getting refreshing creamy drinkettes! I guess now that Parz is all goin’ to the slammer, Nicole had to call up Mischa to party! Seems like their BBQ had a turn for the nasty when Mischa was rushed to the hospital. Supposedly she is recovering from bronchitis and didn’t know you’re not supposed to mix alcohol with antibiotics. Whoops! She’s now “resting comfortably” and “feeling better.’ Holy Cow, these celebutantes really need to take better care of themselves! I love them all too much to keep seeing them so destructive! P.S. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KINGSTON! It was Kingston’s first BDay this past weekend and the famz celebrated at Otto Restaurant in NYC. OMG, what a friggin’ cute-as-can-be bunch!!! Look at King’s a-doorbell baby-tee that reads “Good Life Begins at 1.” And that mod stripe scarf… I’m dying! That little one is the totes King of Cute! What are you guys doing for Memz Day? Well, Keith and I are rebuilding fred flare! Yup, you heard me correctly. Pretty much 75% of the staff quit last week. My heart felt like it broke into a 1,000 pieces. It really felt kinda mutinous! Everyone has their own reasons but I’m sure there was some flight reflex going on there. Keith & I were really freaking out. I mean, we started questioning everything! Is this all really worth it? We work really hard here, we definitely challenge the staff more than they’d like at times but we also love, support & listen to them but we espesh LOVE to show them a good time & give them a voice. Then they leave & Keith & I are left to pick up the pieces, year after year! It’s hard to keep starting over!
But you know, I believe in my heart of hearts that Keith & I are doing something extraordinary here. And doing extraordinary things is not easy, that’s for sure! It’s our legacy to bring happiness to all people. Keith & I usually give ourselves just a couple of days to freak out, then it’s back to work. Now, my mission is to take the best care I can of the incredible people that are still here with us: Anne, Diane, Jen, Julie, Amy and most of all Keith. Because he IS THE most amazing, loving & wonderful person you’ll ever meet. I’ll do anything for him!
So, now we rebuild! We have a mission & nothing can stop us! Stay tuned ’cause we’re up to amazing things & we hope you’ll stick around to enjoy them with us. P.S. it’s pretty clear we’re now hiring! Phew, that was intense! Now for some fun stuff… My girls of summer! These vidz are totes helping me get thru the day! I hope you’ll like them too!
