And, being the Photo Director here at fredflare.com, I couldn’t be more excited to present you our new camera collection. We’ve got tons of new updates of our fave LOMO cameras. The Diana camera now has a monster flash and the Holga has been relaunched in crazy fun circus colors. Bozo Buckets anyone. But I think the funniest new camera may be the two-way trick squirt cam! Yes, it squirts water… April Fools is tomorrow, after all!

OMG, I just love Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards. It’s just so a-doorbell that there’s an award show out there celebrating what kids love! I love the celebs, the vibe and colors… Hello, Orange Carpet anyone? Destiny, I mean Miley Cyrus was the night’s biggest winner raking in the awards for Favorite TV Actress and Favorite Female Singer. Orlando Bloom totes got slimed and Shia LeBeouf and Harrison Ford were just too hawt for the hawt tub. Our Dream Boats, The Jonas Brothers won for Favorite Band and my fave BFF Cammy D took home the Wannabe Award. It’s all just too cute. For the complete list of winning slime ballz, click here!

Well, with all the rumors about Tyra leaving America’s Next Top Model, this new award show, The Fiercee’s was a bit of a surprise. Check out some pics from Tyra’s very first ANTM award show. I guess if it’s good enough for the Real World, it’s good enough for Top Mods. OMG, focus on Jade!

This weekend Keith and I held our second annual Spring get-together in Savannah, Georgia. (Last year, we visited Graceland.) Founded in 1733, Savannah has a rich history and a marvelously restored historic district to accompany it. There are gorgeous mansions, Southern oaks dripping with Spanish moss, monuments, parks, and references to such movies as Gone with the Wind, Forrest Gump, and Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.
But the truth is we didn’t choose Savannah to steep ourselves in its rich background. Originally we picked it because it was warm, sunny, easy to get to, and had a reputation for good food. Here we are in Forsythe Park amid the flowering shrubs and alabaster fountains, and we’re happy as clams.
Tomorrow it’s back to work, but we’re already talking about next year’s excursion. So if any of you have suggestions of places that meet our criteria,we’d love to hear from you.

OMG, I’m totally freaking out. The other day I reported the rumor that Tyra might be leaving America’s Next Top Model ’cause she’s feuding with Jay Manuel. This isn’t looking good… I totes got an email from New York Magazine yesterday reporting the same thing. That Ty Ty and Mister Jay are duking it out and that Tyra wants to focus on her talk show. NY Mag reported that Tyra wants to be taken seriously as a talk show host and ANTM is gettin’ in the way. I can’t believe this. Keith and I quickly thought who we’d ever even consider to take Tyra’s place, I mean she’s totally irreplaceable, but I thought Kate Moss would be fun. Keith thought she’d be too boooring. Tyra quiting and Kate booring??? What’s the world coming to?

I’m obsessed with Madonna, can ya tell? I always get this way when a new Madge record comes out. And now I can blog it. Okay, check out Madge gracing the cover of the new issue of Vanity Fair. She friggin’ looks FIERCE! Girl’s loving her big boots these days.
Her Madgesty also phoned in to NYC’s Z100 this morning… I could kick myself for missing it. Madge said she’s so sick of singing “Like a Virgin” and “Holiday”. She said she’d only sing ‘em again if you paid her like $30 million. Okay! She also admitted pumping up Britney’s “Black Out” during her pilates class! Ooh Ooh Baby!

Jared Leto’s new film Chapter 27 opens in theaters across the country today. I totally love Jared, ever since the days when I’d watch My So Called Life and yearn for a boy just like him. Yes, I totes wanted to be Angela Chase, who d’in’t?!? Well my friends, Jared has seriously come a long way from his hawty Jordan Catalano days.
Jared made a haunting transformation, gaining tons of weight to portray Mark David Chapman, the lost-soul Texan who murdered John Lennon on Dec. 8, 1980, after stalking the ex-Beatle outside his residence at the Dakota in NYC. I Dunno, couldn’t he have just worn a phat suit? Well, Jared has since lost all the weight and is back to his hunkster physique. Phew!

Not only are we the sunglass hut, but now we are chock full o’ cameras! We are so very LOMO obsessed, aren’t you?! We just got three new versions of our fave cameras (check out the pics next to each) and one camera thats sure to surprise you! The oldest trick in the book is our newest fave! The two-way trick squirt camera is HI-LARIOUS. I’m also pretty much freaking out over every single accessory we have. of course the risky biz sunglasses in clear are almost sold out already, and the antique skeleton key necklace is so very vintage and classy, but my fave is the bedford ave scarf… no joke i bought one in each color… whoops! I really do love pandas. They are sooo cute and just plop down on the ground and eat bamboo all day. Fun times! And don’t get me started on baby pandas with their roly poly cuteness. I was even a panda for Halloween with my panda hat from FF! Sometimes my friends call me panda…Diane here calls me panda too. I love Diane! Here’s a couple of my latest panda encounters.
I have some awesome grocery stores near my house in the 718 that stock Meiji cookies on the cheap! I love them. While the chocolate-filled koalas are my fav, these pandas are pretty sweet too. Hello Panda! Oh look, they have risky biz shades on. How stylish!
SPOTTED: Panda Bear Skillet box in trash. N walking with A in Greenpoint, Brooklyn about to stuff their faces with pizza …but then looked down and saw this gem. Good to know our neighbors in Brooklyn dig our goods - Hope that pan is working out nicely for you!
