Hey peeps, hope you had an awesome Valentine’s Day with hearts bursting everywhere. Well, you guys prolly already know that I’m a huge Survivor fan, but you may not know that I was almost on the show. Back in 2001, I sent in my tape, made it to the first round of interviews and then was one of the final 50 contestants to be sequestered in LA for the final elims to determine the 16 Survivors. I thought I was a shoe-in until this a-doorbell soccer player with crazy curly hair showed up… Needless to say, I wasn’t picked (stupid casting agents) and the curly haired boy turned out to be Ethan Zohn who went on win the 3rd installment of Survivor in Africa. And thus I thought the Survivor chapter of life had come to a close…

Until a few weeks ago when I see Ethan at my gym here in NYC. Holy Tribal Council, I totes got that nervous excited feeling like when you see Uma Thurman at your Starbucks or something. I usually never approach celebs but I had to say “hi” to Ethan, I mean we have a weird kinda connection, riiight? Well, I ended up tapping Ethan on the shoulder and he turned out to be the sweetest, nicest guy you could ever imagine… See, nice guys do finish first! He even agreed to do an interview for the podcast with his gorge girlfriend, Jenna Morasca, another Survivor winner and Playboy covergirl. They both were completely ahmahzing and I could have just sat there all day and chatted those two hawties up! The tribe has spoken and Ethan and Jenna are my faves forevz!
