If you’ve emailed me lately and I haven’t written back in a bit it’s cuz I’m INSANE wrapping up the final details of this year’s NEXT BIG THING which is launching… TOMORROW! Oh wow, I am soooo excited about this year’s batch of design discoveries and I can’t wait for you to see them.

Working on the contest has been rather intense this year cuz there were SO many incredible entries. Thanks again to everybody who participated! If you didn’t get selected this year, pls DO NOT stress or get down. Just enter next year! One of this year’s winners entered three years in a row and, wow, am I sure glad she did. Her contribution to this year’s NBT is so cool!

I’m gonna leave you in suspense a bit on whom I’m speaking of cuz we’re doing something very different this year with NEXT BIG THING… And that is, rather than launch all 27 products in the same week, we’re gonna introduce each designer and their item one day at a time exclusively here on BFF every remaining day of June! So this blog is gonna be YOUR source for radness from up-and-coming designers across the globe. We’ve got young supertalents from Brooklyn to Brazil, from San Francisco to Seoul!

After all 27 designers have gotten their proper introduction, the voting booths will open and you can select your FAVE. The designer with the most votes wins $1000! It’s gonna be great fun so pls stay tuned. Also pls keep in mind that many of the items featured in NEXT BIG THING are in limited quantities so if you see something you like, grab it before it goes!
