This is a lil’ bit risqué for the BFF, but I’m blogging it anyway ’cause I just adore Bettie Page. I have sad news… The orig pin-up model from the 50’s, Bettie Page passed away last week at her home in LA. Bettie was 85 yrs old and dang, she was uber hawt, yeah, a little scandalous, but in the most innocent way. Dita von Teese (& Lulu) must be crying her eyes out right now.

Bettie was a rules smasher in the ’50s. She helped liberate female sexuality by being photographed in naughty lingerie and skimpy leopard bikinis. And don’t forget she put whips, masks and Sasha Fierce fetish heels on the map. We love you Bettie… You’ll be greatly missed.
