November 2nd was the 10th anniversary of one of my favorite records of all time: Through Being Cool by Saves The Day. It was a landmark album for pop-punk community, and their most highly revered and influential record. I got this song on a mix tape in high school, and bought the record the next day. If I had a car, I would spend tonight driving and blasting this just like I did when I was 16. Guess I’ll have to wait until the 20th anniversary and pray my kids don’t mind listening to dad’s “old-people” music in the car. Eek.
