Very excited about today’s ecard as it explores one of my all-time fave topics! Soooo… my cheerleading team just started selling candy bars to raise money for charity and I thought it’d be fun to put ‘em online. I (not so secretly) want to sell the MOST candy bars on my team. You gotta aim high in life, right?

Alexander McQueen’s untimely death in February left the fashion world reeling, but the presentation of his last collection yesterday in Paris was a fitting memorial for this legendary designer. Inspired by the Middle Ages, angels, and demons, these gorgeous pieces showcased his stunning construction skills and his utterly unique vision. He will be sorely missed, but at least we have these truly beautiful gems to cherish!
**UNDER THAT CARDIGAN YOU’RE A KILLER ALERT** Ben Linus can’t cut a break. But after four seasons, countless deaths, and ambiguous stares, but now we can finally say whether or not Benjamin “Fake Henry Gale” Linus is a good guy or a bad guy. The answer might surprise you. Also, we get to see Jack Shepard back in amazing leader form, and the gang has a big season-one style reunion on the beach, complete with the touching piano score. Oh, and were you looking for cameos? We have plenty of those as well.
Sadly this morning it was announced that 80s teen heartthrob Corey Haim was found dead in Los Angeles, the cause of Corey’s death being an accidental overdose. Corey had been dealing with substance abuse for years. What a truly devastating way for a too short life to end. Corey Haim, you will always be my favorite Corey.

“ANNA KARENINA TEXTED YOU AN HOUR AGO ALERTZ!”Welcome back Upper Eastsiders! It’s been quite some time [literally MONTHS!] since we’ve heard any scandalous news from the infamous Gossip Girl, but now that the break is over, it seems as though all of our friends have returned to their mischievous ways. Between Nate and Serena’s games, the awkward state of the relationships of both of the Humphrey men and Chuck’s search for his supposedly [but maybe not?] dead mother- well, we’ve got quite the state of affairs to catch up on! Not to mention Lil J’s new sewing projects! Let’s get this long awaited recap started!
Nate and Serena are FINALLY together…right? Wrong! Nothing’s “official” yet [what are we in high school still?] and upon Nate’s arrival back to the UES any ideas of taking it slow are thrown out the window [or should I say thrown onto the floor of the Waldorf’s floor]. Blair warns Serena that she shouldn’t give in to Nate and that they should take things slower, maybe introduce a little competition into the game. S insists that her and Nate don’t need games, but oh how the tables will turn because meanwhile, Dan is giving Nate advice to slow it down as well. Obviously Dan and B have no business in Nate and Serena’s relationship, but they both listen and drama ensues.
After the Oscars Jimmy Kimmel had a post-Oscars episode which was hilarious! One of my favorite sketches was the Handsome Men’s Club, where handsome men unite like John Krasinski, Matthew Mcconaughey, Taye Diggs, Rob Lowe, and of course their faithful leader, Mr. Kimmel himself.
Miley Cyrus is on the cover of the latest Teen Vogue magazine, where she discusses her new movie The Last Song featuring her new boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. This is what she had to say about her chemistry with Liam:
““I think we’re both deeper than normal people—what they think and how they feel. He’s very grateful for what he has, but he doesn’t let it go to his head. I’m like that too.”

**CRAZY DANCING JOHNNY DEPP ALERT** Okay, Let’s be honest: The name Tim Burton doesn’t guarantee a terrific time at the multiplex the way it used to. We learned that the hard way with two of his other remakes (See: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Planet Of The Apes… or, don’t actually.) so I was a slight bit hesitant about getting excited for his remake of Alice In Wonderland. But then someone reminded me the last Burton film was actually Sweeney Todd (a movie I loved, though not many people did.) so I decided I would attempt to watch this film without expectations. So how do I feel about the newest entry from Burton, Depp and Co.? With the exception of maybe (the last) fifteen minutes or so, I’d go as far as saying It was pretty darn okay. Absolutely decent. And with out a doubt not-bad.
