When can I expect my order?
Weekday orders received before 1pm EST typically ship the same day. Orders received after 1pm EST, on weekends or Holidays are typically scheduled for the next business day. Orders shipped outside the continental United States (International, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico or any APO/FPO addresses) ship in 1 to 3 business days. WAREHOUSE PICK-UP orders will be ready for pick-up by 3pm the following business day.
Do you sell Gift Certificates?
We sure do! You can purchase a Gift Certificate in amounts of $25, $50, $75, $100 and $200. Best of all, they never expire AND they can be used online or at our store.
Once you've chosen your desired amount, you have the option of sending the Gift Certificate info to your email address OR you can have it emailed directly to the recipient with a personalized message.
We suggest sending it straight to the recipient for instant gift-giving and tree-saving! If you do have it sent to your email address, you will have the option of printing the Gift Certificate and filing in the info by hand.

Can my Gift Certificate be used online AND at the store?
Of course! If you have a Gift Card from Store Cute and you would like to use it to make a purchase online, just email info@fredflare.com with the Gift Card number (printed on the back) along with the total, and we'll generate an online Gift Certificate number for you, right away. Once we've completed your request, you'll receive a confirmation email with a new Gift Certificate number, ready to be used online.
If you have an online Gift Certificate and you're shopping at Store Cute, just let us know when you're checking out and we'll be happy to honor your Gift Certificate.
How do I check out with one or more Gift Certificates?
The Gift Certificate info email will include a 16 digit code to enter at check-out. We suggest copying and pasting this code, to avoid mistakes. If your total happens to go over the Gift Certificate amount, be sure to have a credit card handy to pay the difference.
If you would like to use more than one Gift Certificate, just enter the first Gift Certificate ID# followed by a comma and the second Gift Certificate ID#. Be sure to have NO SPACES and double check your info!
My Gift Certificate says it’s not valid, what do I do?
If you have tried placing an order with your Gift Certificate and the order did not go through, there is a chance that the system is viewing your Gift Certificate as "used". We understand that these situations happen, and one of our Customer Service Representatives will be more than happy to help you out. Just email us at info@fredflare.com or give us a call at 1-877-798-2807. We’ll refresh your Gift Certificate and process your order immediately.
Do you ship internationally?
YES! We ship internationally via USPS Priority Mail, and charge according to location and weight of your order. Click on your country below to estimate your shipping cost! International customers should allow 2-4 weeks for delivery, depending on destination, customs and in-country mailing service. The weight limit for international orders is 40lbs; if your order is over 40lbs, you will be prompted to remove items from your cart. If your billing address does not match the address on your credit card, we will need to cancel your order; please double check your billing / shipping info before submitting your order! WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ADDITIONAL CHARGES THAT MAY OCCUR UPON DELIVERY.
What if my country isn't listed above?
Currently we only offer shipping options for a few countries. We love ALL of our international customers but, unfortunately, no longer offer international shipping options for every country. There's a brilliant way around this, however. We suggest setting up an account with the mail forwarding service AccessUSA. You'll register with them and get your very own American address! Then you can take advantage of our low UPS Ground rate each time you order. Please visit AccessUSA to sign up for this service. It only costs $15/month! While there is a 24-hour approval process, we are confident that you will be happy with this service, so be sure to check it out!
What are your rules for SALE/SPECIAL and DISCOUNTED merchandise?
All SALE/SPECIAL and DISCOUNTED items are issued an exchange or store credit only. SALE/SPECIAL merchandise usually has a price ending in ".99" and is clearly marked on all receipts. DISCOUNTED merchandise is any merchandise ordered using a discount code. This includes discount codes for a percentage off as well as discount codes for free shipping. If we are having a storewide discount and you do not have to enter a discount code, then you can return your full-priced merchandise for a refund (not including shipping) within 30 days of delivery.
What is your return/exchange policy?
All returns must be mailed within 30 days of order arrival date, please allow up to 5 business days for in-house processing. Returns received after 30 days of order arrival are issued a store credit. All returns must include original packaging. Sale items or items purchased using a discount code are issued an exchange or store credit only. Shipping/handling on returned merchandise is non-refundable. Gift wrap is non-refundable. Exchange requests can be made for an item with the same or lesser value and will be fulfilled according to availability. For multiple item returns totaling $200 or more, a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund amount or a store credit will be issued for the full amount. You can select your return option on the back of your receipt.

For your protection, we recommend shipping via insured/certified mail or UPS/FedEx Ground service, so you have a record of the return. Goods must be returned in perfect condition, so please handle items with care. NOTE: fredflare.com is not responsible for shipping costs for returns, exchanges and/or edited orders; however, if you are in the New York area, we do accept web returns to our store location.

Can I PREORDER an item that's on "backorder"?
Yes! A few select items are available for PREORDER. If you choose an item that is on backorder, and it is available for PREORDER, you will be asked whether or not you would like to PREORDER the item. By selecting "YES!" you can add the item to your cart along with any other items we have in stock (or any other PREORDERED items). If the item is not available for PREORDER, you will be prompted to add your name to the wait list. Discount codes do not extend to PREORDERED items and the other items that are in stock will be held until the PREORDERED items arrive (UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE). You will be charged once you place the order and you will receive a confirmation email with your order information. We suggest that you save the information in this email so you can refer back to it if you have any questions on your purchase. How can I track my order?
Once your package has left our warehouse you will receive an email from UPS (Quantum View Notify) with your tracking number. You can track your order using this number at the UPS online store.
If for some reason you do not receive the UPS ship confirmation email within 24 hours - it's sometimes blocked as spam by some email service providers - you can track your package using the order number. Enter "FF" and your six-digit order number (example: FF123456) in the "reference number" field here and UPS will show your package's progress.

Why didn’t I receive my shipping notification?
Shipping notifications can take up to one business day from order processing to be sent. Sometimes these emails are mistakenly blocked as spam by some email service providers. If your email system uses a filter or spam blocker, please add orders@fredflare.com and auto-notify@ups.com to your address book to ensure you receive emails about your order status. You can still track your order using your reference number (see How can I track my order?)
Is fredflare.com a secure website?
Shopping on fredflare.com is safe and secure. This site is tested by ScanAlert and certified daily to pass the FBI/SANS Internet Security Test. We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customers' personal data and do not save any credit card information on our website. We use your email (and occasionally your telephone number) exclusively to communicate with you regarding your order and never distribute your personal information to other companies. Can I place a wholesale order?
Yes, we do offer a selection of products from our house fred flare brand for wholesale purchase. The other items on our site are strictly part of our retail division and are NOT available for wholesale through fredflare.com. Why is my discount code not working at checkout?
Please make sure you have entered it correctly and that the promotion is still valid. Also, please note that we do not offer additional discounts on SALE, SPECIAL or PREORDERED merchandise and that we do not allow combined use of discount codes, unless noted otherwise. Do you have a catalog?

Can I pick up my order?
Yes. Simply select WAREHOUSE PICK-UP at checkout and save on shipping! You can pick up your order anytime after 3pm the following business day. We are located at 300F Kingsland Ave Brooklyn NY 11222. Our office hours are 9am to 6pm EST Monday-Friday. Click here for a map. Your order will be cancelled and your credit card refunded, minus a 15% restocking fee, if we do not hear from you within 14 days. Gift wrap charges are non-refundable.
What does “backorder” mean?
A backordered item is an item that we expect to restock very soon. If you have selected an item that is backordered, you will be prompted to either preorder the item or add your email to our “notify me” wait list. Unfortunately, if an item is “sold out” we have no remaining inventory on that item and are unable to restock it.
Do you gift wrap?
Yes. We charge $6.95 per item for this service. We wrap all gifts with fine Jack and Lulu paper tied with grosgrain ribbon. Click here for a preview Don't forget to add a gift message at checkout! Those are free. Also, if you’d like a gift receipt that does not show any price information, you can select this option at checkout. PLEASE NOTE: Gift wrap charges are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Can you provide more sizing information?
fredflare.com carries a wide variety of clothing from designers all over the world, each with sizing all their own. Below you'll find a rough guideline of measurements for women & men. We are happy to exchange any item that is not completely satisfactory!
Do you offer price adjustments?
A price adjustment in the form of STORE CREDIT ONLY can be made for an item within 14 days of purchase, if that item has gone on SALE / SPECIAL. Price adjustments will not be made for store wide sales or discount codes; there are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule. Adjustments can be made only ONCE from the original price. Previously marked down items or items purchased using a discount code will not be issued a price adjustment.
What if I see a charge on my credit card that I don’t recognize?
If you see a charge on your bill that you don’t recognize, please contact us at info@fredflare.com or call 1-877-798-2807 from 10am-5pm EST M-F. We can easily look up the information for the charge, and together we can decide if you need to contact your credit company. It’s always a good idea to contact us first because we can make any adjustments faster than your credit card company can.

Is fredflare.com “Earth friendly”?
Everyday we try our very best to make sure we are as eco-friendly as we can be! Here’s a list of a few green things we do, but we are always looking for suggestions. If you have any green tips please email us at info@fredflare.com
• The boxes we use contain recycled material (liner: 20-30%, flute: 100%) and is 100% recyclable. That means you can put it in with your paper recycling.
• The bubble wrap is (minimum) 10% post-consumer content and (minimum) 20% recycled plastic and is 100% recyclable. You can put the bubble wrap in with your plastics recycling.
• We separate our paper and our cardboard products from our other trash. (Our waste company separates the rest!)
• Our Staples brand paper contains at least 30% post consumer waste and is 100% recyclable
• The staples’ InkDrop service allows for us to mail in our empty ink cartridges to be recycled or reused. FREE OF CHARGE!
• All empty HP LaserJet ink cartridges and hardware can be shipped for free to HP for recycling (All HP cartridges are made from 100% recycled plastic)
• We only use “Ecobulbs”. They are compact fluorescent bulbs that help reduce carbon dioxide (global warming), sulfur dioxide (acid rain), the demand on landfills and helps save energy.
• All of our desks are equipped with homasote boards, which are 100% recycled and recyclable.
• Any and all items that are not in use any more, (AC’s, printers, etc.) are sent back to the manufacturer for recycling or picked up by the city to be recycled.
• All orders are shipped through UPS. They are the top shipping company in E-Waste Recycling.
• We always use as little energy in the office as possible by turning off heat or AC’s when they aren’t needed and keeping as few lights on as possible.
